Brad Point Bit
The brad point bit is of a family of Drill Bits
perfected for drilling in wood. "Brad" in its name comes from the point on the tip. To achieve greater precision in drilling holes in wood projects, before it penetrates into the wood, the bit's point prevents it from wandering uncontrollably during rotation.
